Candace Owens Says She Is Considering Running for President

Candace Owens just announced she is thinking about running for president.

“I love America,” Owens posted on Twitter over the weekend. “Thinking about running for President.”

Candace Owens turns 32 in April and is known for helping co-found the BLEXIT movement.

She would meet the age requirement to run for president.

Owens staunch conservative who was born in Connecticut and rose to internet fame with her outspoken political viewpoints.

Hours following Owens’ tease at a run for POTUS, the commentator, who has become an increasingly prominent voice on the right, emphasized that it’s “an important time in our country,” urging Republicans to “[s]peak up.”

“If you’re smarter than a 5th grader, you realize that the radical Left is trying to brainwash the world into believing January 6th was similar to 9/11 or Pearl Harbor,” Owens said, referring to the breach of the U.S. Capitol led by far-right election protesters. “Absurd. Just a sloppy attempt to justify censoring, surveilling & treating half our country like terrorists.”

“Every good dictator needs a ‘reason’ and a ‘justification’ for locking up, censoring, and criminalizing all acts of political dissent,” she said. “That is why I will #NeverForgetJanury6th Because it’s become a justification for evil against half our country who remain innocent.”

Following Owen’s announcement about considering running, two-time MLB World Series champ Aubrey Huff already volunteered to be her vice president.

Owens has had several public feuds with big-name Democrats and Hollywood celebs, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and rapper Cardi B.

Ocasio-Cortez is also turning 32 this year, and would meet the age requirement to run in 2024 if she wanted to.
